Woking New Victoria Theatre - The New Victoria Theatre positioned in the heart of Woking town opened to the public in 1992 (June) and and pretty quickly became acknowledged as being one of the leading theatres in the South East of England. The magnificent auditorium and the comfort of its roomy front of house sections, along with its excellent acoustics, state of the art facilities and clear sight lines, allow it to play host to the very best of theatre. First class drama has been presented the National Theatre, the Peter Hall Company and the Royal Shakespeare Company; Glyndebourne on Tour and Northern Ballet are also regular visitors. Big production musicals have included the Chicago, Miss Saigon, Cats, Hairspray and West Side Story, whilst the top rock and roll musicals, comedies, kids shows and Surrey's most impressive Christmas panto also feature in the New Victoria Theatre's programme of entertainment.
